½ Day for students before winter holidays, no lunch served,

dismissal begins at 11:45, buses will run

Classes will resume for students on Monday, January 6th.

Early Dismissals – If your student needs to be dismissed early from school, they must be dismissed before 2:45 PM. For the safety of our students, NO DISMISSALS are allowed after 2:45 PM.

Classroom Parties - Hamilton County School Board Policy allows for two “parties” per year. One is held before Winter Break, and one is for Valentine’s Day. Halloween parties are not held at school. Students may not dress in Halloween costumes.

After Hours – The school building is closed after 3:30 to students. Students may not return to the building for forgotten items.

Inclement Weather – Parents will be notified through School Messenger and the district website (www.hcde.org) for all school closings, delays, early dismissals, and school age child care information. Parents should also listen for the appropriate announcement via TV and radio in order to plan accordingly. Also know that school buses will carry the children as close as possible (in the judgment of the school bus driver) to their home stop. Buses will not operate on steep hills, dangerous curves, dead end roads, etc. In extreme conditions, buses will not run.
